 Chattahoochee Harley-Davidson was founded in November of 2000, by John and Marlies Cunningham. John had been an energy consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to taking over the dealership as President and General Manager. For John, a long-time motorcycle enthusiast, this was a dream come true. Both John and Marlies are active in the day-to-day operations of the dealership. John first came to the Columbus area forty years ago when, as a graduate of West Point, he completed his ranger training at Fort Benning. After completing his military career, he worked in the utility industry as a regulator, attorney, and then as the controller of a major electric utility's unregulated energy affiliate. The Cunningham's three children, Mike, Katrina, and Sean, all continue to put in time helping with the operations here at Chattahoochee. Sean is an engineer like his brother Mike. Both work in the construction business. When Mike or Sean show up in Columbus, they are put to work whenever they find themselves near Chattahoochee.
